Alia Shields
Undergraduate Research Assistant

Alia Shields is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at GMAP, where she works on Project Heal Together and Project Peer Act!vate. She completed the Justice and Legal Thought Scholars program, during which she conducted a research project on the treatment of psychosis in federal prisons. She is very passionate about the intersection of mental health and social justice. Alia is looking forward to learning more about how qualitative research is performed and is excited about the opportunity to work at GMAP!
