Reuben Van Eck
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Reuben Van Eck is an undergraduate research assistant at GMAP. Reuben previously worked as a teaching assistant in Dr. Scott Roberts’ Psychology of Evil course for two consecutive summers and is excited to expand his knowledge on research regarding mental health care accessibility and stigma reduction in his time at GMAP. When not in school, Reuben can be found singing in various music ensembles, including the University of Maryland Chorale, and the comedy a cappella group “Mockappella,” of which he is music director. After taking some time to amass more real world experience, Reuben plans to pursue a Ph.D. in counseling psychology, with the future goal of providing mental health care to underserved college and high school age students.
