Emilia Toloza

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Emilia Toloza is a junior Neurobiology & Physiology and Psychology double major in the University Honors Program. Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, Emilia is on the pre-med track and hopes to pursue an MD/PhD, and ultimately become a trauma surgeon. She is passionate about increasing access to mental health resources and affordable health care and medicine to impoverished communities and disadvantage people. She is also interested in bridging the gap between medicine and physiology and psychopathology with the hopes of improving treatments for mental illnesses and disorders.
